Weekend Offender – Streetwear For The Terraces

If there’s one brand that leaves pretence at the door and serves up style with a thick slice of sincerity it’s Weekend Offender. Weekend Offender is the voice of the UK’s pub, park and party scenes – cutting across the outdoor, leisure and entertainment genres with ease and electric disobedience.

To quote Weekend Offender themselves, they describe their products as ‘no-nonsense, functional clothes with an insubordinate twist.’ Lad-ish but level headed, these are pieces with a focus on sophisticated sporty basics and easy classics. There’s something for everyone, and although its self-assured, cocky and playfully combative flavour echoes throughout the collection, it is by no means just for the footie crowd. Weekend Offender injects hoodies, T shirts, polos, jeans and jackets with a leisurely elegance that translates past its youthful boldness.

There’s a preppy edge to this brand. The lean lines of button-down collared shirts and clean styling of solid polos and overcoats lend themselves to a more polished silhouette. An affinity with film, music and iconic entertainment establishments like Ministry Of Sound keep this upscale attitude firmly rooted in its cool and cunning community.

We’re not ones for name-dropping...so here goes! A number of musical legends such as Brit rocker Liam Gallagher, rapper Dappy, singer Plan B and undeniably well-dressed gents like Idris Elba are fans, showing their affinity for this elegantly grass-roots establishment. Also the Modfather himself, Paul Weller, Tom Hardy, Rizzle Kicks, Mod man Bradley Wiggins (or Wiggo as we affectionately call him-he loves that!), also sporting legend Aaron Ramsey, the coolest man on earth Samuel L Jackson and last but by no means least crooner superstar Jake Bugg. All of these greats have been snapped recently wearing Weekend Offender Clothing-they must have something in common; oh yeah that's it-GOOD TASTE!
